We need better auto-translations

Mainly because of the language barrier. My example. I was the only english speaking guy in a group of french players in Susano Normal.

The Drk, kept pulling before people were ready. They only replied to anything with a ?? reply. And whenever I was main tank they kept spamming provoke/ultimatum. All I could really say was <playername> (Stop!) and they'd just reply with ?? again and again.

We NEED better auto translates, more so for players who are still hitting their first 70 and have no common sense, nor can they catch on when anyone tells them to just Stop! in auto translate.

Even having 'Please Use' and 'Do not use' in the auto translate could probably help a lot more than some people would think.

The auto-translate dictionary is actually quite good. They can only add so many more phrases, as the entire auto-translate dictionary is loaded to memory.

Is there a reason ur queing up with French speakers like do u have it enabled or do they have english enabled. I'm coming from a server that has very little Spanish speaking players along with very little French Canadian speaking players and honestly had no idea auto translate was a thing.

The auto-translate dictionary is actually quite good. They can only add so many more phrases, as the entire auto-translate dictionary is loaded to memory.

My problem with it is that it's not easy to use. It sometimes takes me ages to try to find an entry for what I want to say.

I think if they English selected in their duty finder options you can still get matched with them

i tend to use it for greetings only since trying to find specific things in auto translate is pain (on ps4 at least) but my favorite auto translate line is hands down "I seem to have misplaced my keyboard"

Be nice if they had a item created Auto Translate function like it is in Final Fantasy XI. In other words in Final Fantasy XI every item that you have or you seen on someone when you examine them gets a tattoo a user-created auto translate dictionary so you can put that item using the auto translate function within your chat window. It would be cool if 14 had something similar but with the restrictions that they've mentioned on many different parts the game who knows if they could do it.

The only thing that needs to be improved is the way the auto translator is working with keywords.

Atm you have to type the first word of the sentence you want to say, but most of the time I don't know the sentence and just type the keyword it is about. For example 'enmity', but you wont find a proper sentence, bc none starts with enmity.
It would be much better if it would work like it does in the marketboard search, then you also get sentences shown which just have the keyword somewhere in the text, not only at the beginning.

I tend to just autotranslate an ability name.
