I thought it was supposed to be Ultimate Ultima 2 weeks after 4.3 and Heaven on High 2 weeks after that, but there's no maintenance scheduled for tonight. When are we going to get this content that was announced months ago?

Recently it's been four weeks after the .x1 patch (see 4.15 and 4.25). So, if that holds, it should be in two weeks.

Thanks for the responses. It's better to know than to be in the dark, but god damn I just don't understand the thought process here. There isn't nearly enough content in 4.3 to justify a 6 week delay on Heaven on High, especially when that's the content that people are going to play over and over again.
.5 patches have usually been five weeks after the initial main patch. That would put 4.35 at June 26th. I believe 4.25 was delayed an extra week, so it may be July 3rd.
Ultimately, I agree. There isn't nearly enough content to justify such a lengthily delay. If you're not doing Ultimate, you basically have nothing to do right now.
Well I thought there was enough content, players are catching up for Eureka (especially since the challenge log additions), Ridorana raid, taking part in the new ex trial and/or Ultima's Refrain, plus there was the added beast tribe quests as well. Ok for the hardcore FFXIV player it might not seem like a lot but for the casuals it's giving them chance to catch up and do quite a few things. I'm kinda dying for the the next Omega tier more than anything, but it'll come in time. Though Heaven On High isn't going to be your typical content release and no doubt it could potentially have a life quite similar to Palace of the Dead, so whether it comes now or later it seems to have longitivity potential.
I just hope they don't put the same break on it as they did POTD. As much as I would like to (and have soloed to about 160) I can never find anyone interested in going to 200. Haven't found one yet, let alone 3. They still have it locked to pre-formed parties. I've been looking forward to this a long time now, but I'm starting to feel it's just going to be too little too late.
My guess is the logic is they've realized the whole "You don't have to play non stop, feel free to take breaks" strategy doesn't actually help them any. Dump new content all at once, everyone subs for a month to play and try it out, and then they're gone until the next patch. Trickle the patch content out and players may remain subbed throughout as they nibble on each new bit.
I think you're right with this. The downside is of course pretty thin levels of content. My guess is the logic is they've realized the whole "You don't have to play non stop, feel free to take breaks" strategy doesn't actually help them any. It also helps give each feature a bit more room to breathe and be in the spotlight, plus helps the QA team narrow their focus. So all in all, it makes a fair bit of sense for them to aim for more of a monthly feature schedule, even if it means that any given update is less "grand."My guess is the logic is they've realized the whole "You don't have to play non stop, feel free to take breaks" strategy doesn't actually help them any.
