Sounds like your just being blocked or they are preventing you based on new FC. I would just cut my loses, learn, and move on.

That's exactly what he's trying to do - get out of that defunct FC and move on. The whole issue this thread is about is that the game WON'T LET HIM LEAVE.

To leave the FC he has to demolish his room.
To demolish his room, he has to remove its furnishings.
To remove his room's furnishings, he has to enter it — through the house.
To enter the house and his room, he needs permission to do so.
He DOESN'T HAVE permission to enter the house, because the new FC leader took that access away from him.
Result: He's not able to leave the FC.

Now, it's possible the FC leader didn't know about that whole consequence chain when he removed OP's access. Most players don't, and it's not a very obvious consequence. Removing OP's permission to enter their house is still a jerk move, but he may not have actually intended to hold him hostage in the FC. But intended or not, Johnmark is still stuck there.
