It is, because both are breaking the ToS. Just because you like doing it, doesnt mean you arent breaking the ToS. Its the same with mods. Many use them and it is againts the ToS. Just because you like it, doesnt you arent breaking the ToS. So yes it's exactly the same.

While, both RMT and Copyrighted Performance are both against ToS and I agree that, if someone is going to play the ToS card, people should be willing to discuss what is a more impactful violation.

I’ll debunk this tangent right now. I’ve raided with a good portion of the world first team over the years and I can promise you first hand that they are not in this for the money. If they were, there are frankly far better options for players of their time and motivation. The progression raid scene is upset about the lack of a third Ultimate because it means we face another massive raid content lull akin to the end of HW. But that’s a topic for another thread.

Between the reddit post about people selling UwU clears, JP bloggers bringing up the reddit post, and this post being made, I doubt it's a coincidence.

Of course, this doesn't actually mean anything is going to change, considering how they decided to be less transparent about the number of bans being issued for botting after people complained on a large scale, yet none of the regulars on my server have been touched still, and the number of bots has actually gone up significantly instead.

They've already stated that they accept absolutely no third-party evidence due to fears that it could be altered.

Though honestly, that's probably one of the main reasons why almost nobody ever gets banned for illicit activity.

Engaging in RMT activity for $1200 USD is not the same as a young teenage boy playing a cover of Carly Rae Jepsen, "Call Me Maybe."

And I am quite sure that those bards that are reported might get at least a warning. But selling Ultimate for example is a double break of the ToS. RMT which is normally a big no for companies and account sharing. And seeing how a lot of those raiders use parsers too you could even make it a third one if they would follow through with that.

In the end the biggest question is: What will hurt the community more?

Someone that plays something does not hurt us (or maybe just our ears) while those that use RMT, account sharing and do this even in PVP means that less people will get mounts, honest people wont stand a chance against cheaters in PVP thus lose and you will have people clearing Ultimate that should never have done it thus bloating the numbers and with that giving the devs fake numbers. Any of these points hurts us more in the long run than perfom will ever do.

Edit: Also if you (as in general you, not a person directly) are fine with them selling clears, then why not just let them put the weapons on the mog station. Then at least SE can earn something from it too.
