    Game Keeps Re-Installing Itself... Very Slowly

    Last week, when I attempted to play the game on my PS4, the game defaulted to first time setup and when it did, it was only downloading the game onto my console at 1 MB per second and it sometimes even got slower than that.

    This problem happened again yesterday and now it is happening again today. How do I stop the game from re-installing itself and if I have to do so again, why is it so slow?

    Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    How do you go about closing out the game? Do you put the console in sleep mode? Are you disconnected form the game at all? How old is the PS4 you are using? Have you upgraded the stock hard drive since you've had it?

    As for the download speed, how are you connecting to the internet? Are you using a wired or wireless connection? What download speeds do you normally have?
