New to RP

I've never done any sort of rp but I've watched some and read about some and it does seem fairly fun. I've read that this is the largest rp server on ffxiv and was wondering if it was casual rp friendly.

Balmung is indeed the largest RP server for FFXIV, and it is friendly for all kinds of RP.

The bad news is that Balmung is officially labeled as a Comgested server. This means that until further notice nobody can create a new character on Balmung, nor transfer old characters there. In short - if you aren't already on Balmung, there is no way to get in there.

Luckily Balmung isn't the only RP server. The other unofficial RP servers are Mateus (aimed at NA timezones) and Omega (for EU timezones).
There are also small RP communities on many other servers, but Balmung, Mateus, and Omega are the main RP servers.
