Token in Alliance raiding and items

This is my first thread if something wrong about grammar or anything I'm sorry :')
I am grinding Royal city of Rabanastre for 4 days now. I can't see any Squire tunic for tank and I use some token (around 10 pieces) for upgrading my gears but other tokens I dunno what should I spend. I have no idea about this some loot in Alliance rading need to use token to exchange for alliance loot :x or something useful. I am gonna continue raiding for one squire tunic for tank

P.S I can't blame about looting in Alliance raiding but I have never seen tank suit as I play PLD

Every alliance raid in HW and SB all give a token at the end that can be traded for an ingredient which is used to augment tomestone equipment. So the Rabanstre Coin can be used if you want to upgrade Creation gear from ilvl 330 to 340, or you can save it and use it conjunction with the new Ridorana coin to upgrade Mendacity gear from 360 to 370. Using the tokens will give you access to more powerful gear than what drops in the raids, so that stuff is mostly good just for the glamour more than anything.

Keep at it and eventually the stuff you are looking for will drop, RNG can be a pain sometimes.

At the very least once the tank chest drops you know its yours. For everyone else, that's only the first dice roll. :v

Grats on getting the tank chest, tis a lovely piece, I managed to get mine week 3 thanks to a lucky greed roll, the tank in our party was tired of grinding for it and took the gloves that dropped, only for the chest to drop not once, but twice at the end, that had to have stung.

I do wish we could exchange the tokens for a piece of our choice, but I also understand why it is the way it is.

I think he means tokens to exchange for the desired gear like primal totems, I support the idea as it is too hard to collect all gear pieces for a single job in Alliance Raids!...


I doubt SE makes said gear just to be wasted so at least give us an easy way to get what we want!...


As a side note, the upgrade system with coins is pretty retarded to me, a real waste of time because it takes too long, a single coin should be able to upgrade old gear and not a combination of them like they did in Heavensward, that just enslaves us in those annoying raids, I'm not upgrading gear with coins anymore, I'll just wait for new gear to come out!...
