Triple Triad Ascension doesn't properly capture weaker cards

    Date & Time: 17/6/2018 1:40
    Frequency: Always
    World name: Odin
    Character name: Ryujin Nazuki
    Retainer name: -
    NPC name: Indolent Imperial
    Monster name: -
    Class/Level: Scholar lvl 63
    Party or solo: Solo

    Area and coordinates: X:11.9 Y: 17.3
    Housing: -
    Steps:
    1. Use a deck with cards of the same tribe while playing with the rule Ascension
    2. Boost your own cards and then try to capture a weaker card (after the bonus points from your tribe cards)
    3. Card doesn't get captured for some reason

The enemy has a Bahamut card which will defend with 9(+1). I will be attacking it with my Roundrox' 8(+3) side. 11 > 10, so I should be able to capture the Bahamut card, but it doesn't get captured for some reason.

This doesn't happen with every card that got stronger because of ascension, but this and other specific combinations of cards are always reproducable. For example, Roundrox 8(+3) won't be able to capture Bahamut 9(+1). I've just tried this again, and Roundrox doesn't seem to be able to capture a lot at all because of ascension. It feels like the system ignores the bonus points he should be getting.

I've been able to capture Bahamut 6(+1) with a Scarface 6(+2). Some specific cards seem to be bugged out. This worked in my favor once, but I don't recall what cards were being used anymore.

Pretty sure cards cannot exceed 10 even with Ascension.

Indeed, you cannot exceed 10 with Ascension.

"A rule that affects cards that are grouped into a specific type, such as "Primal" or "Beastman." When placed on the playing grid, the number values on these cards are increased by one for every card of that type that is in play. Numbers that are increased to "11" or more are considered to be of "A" rank."

According to that logic, it should have been captured.

It makes sense that a 10 turns into an A. Simply means that the description of Ascension on their site is wrong.
