THM vs Tank FIGHT!!

I only screw around and have fun in Ifrit. I joke about getting to red first, Chameleon to green, then stay constant yellow. Running a parser to measure up dps or hps, when I'm Conjurer.
Some people are stupid, but that comes with the territory. I think you're getting a bit worked up Yuri. ^^; Idiots are rampant on our server. That's why almost a third of our server is on my blacklist. Sure does make my day a whole lot less stressful.

If thms didnt pull hate off a random pick up tank, it would defeat the purpose of joining a lol run. Random things like this make you appreciate a good ls main tank.. love you taki!

I think it is hard to compare MRD and GLA for hate generation, I mean on one hand GLA has more hate generating abilities, yet it does much less damage then MRD, I will say GLA is going to be the better AoE tank hands down. Either way they both make great tanks in Ifrit.

BUT... since enmity generation is formulaic... You actually can compare the hate

comparing the formulas alone leaves out the most important factor (the player) so yeah technically if you compare raw numbers only then yes you can claim the best class for hate generation.

I'm probably one of the crappiest THMs on my server, wearing crappy non melded gear
non melded Ivory staff, wearinfg a loyallist's bliaud lol, AND i still am in red a lot of the time in an Ifrit battle...
So dudes, don't try your best to steal hate from the tank just to say "lol i'm a beast"

So In other words, it's not badass to do something that everyone can do lol...
It's just common.

It's bs. you first go to static red before going to blinking red and steal the mob.
So if you didnt notice that you are in the static red state when you were doing Thundaga you are probably an idiot that don't know how to do your job.

Hurhurhur! Someone's pissed. You want to chew on some annoying hate-stealing THM that you partied with and instead of /telling him all that you make a rant post in the forums when there's a good chance s/he won't even see it. Kinda pointless don't you think?

Also, have you ever been in green hate and go all like "Cool, low hate Thunder-<Excruciate>-Thundara, great still green with a touch of yellow, Thundaga *crit* RAAAWWRRR! Ifrit running to you in rage lol" Fun times^^.

That rarely happens if you let the tank build hate for about 30secs. Also, you being stuck in red can be a result of the other thms lacking in dmg leaving the hate not being spread out evenly.

I laughed so hard at this post i lost an eyebrow..

It's funny cause u assume i don't tell it to the THMs that do this when i'm tanking, when in reallity i totally tell em right away in their face that it aint badass, they just suck at being a mage..

Also i started this thread for my lolz, but it seems i didnt make it clear enough in the 3 times i already said it.

Peeps agree that if u pull hate and can't control it u a sucky mage.
I am suposed to be a sucky mage but i never once got to the point where i couldn't control it. i am usually red or yellow but i play the line just fine
I must be a badass mage i guess hmm...

Anyway a lot of future or vet THMs read this and now know that they shouldn't do
what they sometimes did, on purpose or not.,

So i'd say that overall this thread wasn't all that pointless.
