thms that steal hate are bad thms.

thms that steal hate are bad thms.

While some tanks are better at getting hate and some plain out suck at it, hate control is not just the tanks job.
If the thm pulls hate in most cases they are not doing thier job properly. The DDs job is dmg output, dmg avoidance, and hate control, pulling hate mean the DD did something wrong. There is a hate bar for dd I think this sums it up pretty well: green = dmg the mob, yellow = caution slow dmg, red = STOP DMG, blinking red = YOU SCREWED UP. That is what I tell my DDS in my ls. I have some tanks which hold hate better then others, but in the end if a thm pulls hate on ifrit for instance.. it will not be the tank getting yelled in most cases.
Food vs. Drinks, I like both.

Where's that "You can eat and drink at the same time" picture? I know I saw it somewhere...

Haha, hate control is indeed a group effort. But sometimes it's fun to pull hate just to tease your tank.

Invigorate (LNC)
Sentinel
Flash + Provoke (MRD)
Rampart on your teammates
Aegis Boon
(wait on parry) War drum
Keep on your enmity combo, Flash + Provoke and use Sentinel when you can to boost enmity. Also go Aegis Boon + Wardrum when you can too.

ummm... so yea... war drum requires Glad...
It's funny how you assume that this combo aint the one i am using but still get hate stolen by THMs...
I didnt start tanking yesterday lol![]()

Nah, just giving general tips, of course you already know =)
@Rydin: Yeah, and tanking is for Glads too, so...
It could help to have a Touch of Rage Materia IV in both your sword and waist, it boosts rage like hell reincarnated

the reason rydin posted that renshi is last page some page people were saying start tanking as mrd because it's a better tank than gla. i think it was nothing more than a case of mistaken identity with his reply to you.
