[Request] Devs to focus on Chocobo Racing improvments.

I'd just take more race tracks at this point. Along with a bigger hit box for the chests. I don't know how many times I've just barely missed hitting one right on and get nothing. Also the jump reaction time has always felt off.

The jump lag is definitely silly. One day there's barely any delay, the next its over 2 seconds. Makes it difficult to time with it being so inconsistent due to being 100% serverside.

I agree there, the jump lag is bad but steering is still just as bad. It feels more like "luck" if you actually win a race.

I want it to be mario kart with chocobos. It should be a "jump in and enjoy it" type of deal, not something where you have to battle rng breeding/stats/stamina.

Agreed. I feel like I'm shelling out more MGP to breed the perfect chocobo than I am winning MGP, which has caused me to not even bother. Especially since the minigame punishes you for breeding stats late by jacking up the prices of breeding stock.

Or hell.. imagine if they did what FFXI had. Where you have to to a time trial in an actual zone!

XI allowed you to place bets on races. Course you weren't the one riding your bird you hired a jockey. I didn't stick with it because for me it was hard to figure out so I'm not sure if they changed it.
