If Dark knight and Black mage could regain MP from Refresh, Ewer cards and Mana Shift?

Black Mage already can I think this just applies to Dark Knights
Black Mage can accept Chunks of MP, like from Manashift, it just cant obtain refresh status while under Astral fire (stuff like Lucid, Ranged Refresh, or the Ewer.) Its the only reason Convert works in Astral fire.
When on RDM the hubby will feed manashifts to BLMs if the healers are fine, his MP is healthy, there isn't a bard and if he sees that they just refreshed astral fire, so he knows they have enough time to adjust their rotation for the extra Astral spell.
You'd get around one extra F4 as a Black Mage so it' snot a big deal. You'd have to adjust your F1 timing to fit it comfortably.
For dark Knight, benefiting from Refresh would be good when Blood Weapon isn't running. An extra 2 Dark Arts every 3 minutes isn't game breaking.
I agree. I do not know why Square Enix doesn't want this happening... It would add more synergy with other classes. Brd and Mch increasing DRK's dps? All for it.You'd get around one extra F4 as a Black Mage so it' snot a big deal. You'd have to adjust your F1 timing to fit it comfortably.

It'd probably be barely noticeable. Seems like it could've been a carry over from their HW intentions? Like, DRK used to be about not bottoming out, now it's about not overcapping.
IDK though. I always feel bad for the DRK when I run dungeons on MCH and Refresh/Tact on large pulls. "Here's MP for everyone.. Except you. Filthy DRK"
Personally, given the aesthetic, I always thought of it as Dark Knight not relying on other people. It's the the solo vigilante class. It's ability to protect is narrow, its focus in Heavensward was on disabling / debuffing an enemy rather than protecting the party directly, and it just didn't play nice with anyone. It'd probably be barely noticeable. i belive in that too until i met living dead.Personally, given the aesthetic, I always thought of it as Dark Knight not relying on other people. It's the the solo vigilante class. Given that DRK has pathetic self-healing on single targets, the only invulnerability of the three tanks that kills them without help, and can throw shields on others almost at will with TBN, it's really the least independent of the tanks now.Personally, given the aesthetic, I always thought of it as Dark Knight not relying on other people.
