Retainer Venture Streamlining

Friends and myself are avid crafters and try to be as self sustainable as possible, so we will have our retainers go off for resources while we get others, or are too tired gather otherwise. Originally, we thought maybe some remote retainer control would be nice to send them on ventures even when not logged on, but this morning the idea developed in our Discord on my end.

What about having the option to send retainers on multiple, back to back gathering ventures? Only the gathering ventures are necessary, and it allows for them to only focus on the one material for multiple hours at a time instead of just one, where you have to be vigilant and get to a summoning bell just to send them off again.

I thought of the complications of the vaguer ideas, and they led into this. Since I haven't seen anything suggested as of yet (at least in English forums), I figured I would do my part to place it here in the hopes that it be added to the ideas list for the QOL of the game.

I dont craft much but I gather. I could see something like this working for the item specific ventures. Lets say by MIN retainer is assigned to go collect 60 fire shards, it would be nice to have a slider to tell her how many to get and then the game just calculates the amount of ventures and time required to gather them and then I can send her off! It would keep me from going back to the summoning bell every hour to reassign the same venture. To gather 9999 shards is 6.9 days of constant venturing for 167 ventures.

I am totally behind this idea.

I support this idea on streamlining retainers. I would like to send my retainers on longer trips to either gather/venture instead of having to send them off on an hourly basis. Even it caps at 4, 8, 12, or even 24 hours will still be helpful on sending my retainers to gather/venture when I’m offline.
