Hoping it is ok to post here.

I am wondering if there is any way I can stop a person viewing me or my lodestone?

I had a falling out with someone who went on to cyber bully me all through my social medias. I am now having people (still some in the mutual circle) find her to be in the exact or so close it worries them outfits as me, using the same colour palette for classes as me etc. I KNOW it is just a game but in a game limited in personality can one not find their own and leave me alone to try to have some uniqueness in game full of limited (to the normal person, I guess) clothing chpoices. Hair I get as I only like 2 styles so SE fix that and how we deal with cyber bullying?

Report them.

Use the support desk in game to report harassment. The GM's will look into things. You can't prevent someone from looking you up on the lodestone.

Unfortunately there isn't much that can be done for certain things. If you feel harassed in game you can report the player for harassment and blacklist them, beyond that it is up to the GMs to take action. Personally, I think the GMs don't take that kind of situation lightly but they are limited by what they see in game and if something is actually against TOS; also they'll never tell you what actions they may take so it can feel very frustrating.

Likewise, if they are harassing you on social media, you can report them to moderators of those sites to deal with but they're under much the same restrictions as FF14 GMs.

For things like viewing your lodestone or anything through google, you can't really do anything about it. While you could contact Google customer support to say something is happening, I doubt they'd be able to take any effective action against the person.

The best you can do on your end is blacklist wherever you can, avoid them when possible, and try not to give them the attention they're trying to get.

I'm sorry this is happening to you, i wish i could give you better advice/help.

As already indicated..report them.
However.... you will likely be asked to blacklist and such.

If it becomes a worrisome thing you should consider transferring servers.
In truth....the other issue (lodestone) is a waste of time.

Consider it a compliment your being mimic'd. Get on/move on. Like it or not anyone and everyone is free to glamour as they see fit.
If you wan't to be a real annoyance..start dropping fantasia potions...kind of forces the issue lol. (Yes your spending money but it would be funny as its forcing them to do the same as well)

If it corsses over into other social media sites....you have the option to contact Local Law Enforcement.
Cyber Bullying in many states....is not a good idea.

In truth....black list...file a harassment petition if necessary...and just ignore them.

I would report the individual that is stalking you, as well as blacklist them so that they are prevented from contacting you in-game via /tell; joining Party Finders set up by you (sadly, this won’t prevent random matching via Duty Finder though); and you won’t see /say, /shout, /yell, or any /party or /ls messages from them either. If they get enough harassment reports, their account can be perma-banned from the game so long as there is enough evidence for the GMs to take action (chat log harassment is the best kind of evidence for this). I would advise that you also have friends reporting them as well if they witness chat log harassment, because if you have them blacklisted you obviously cannot see what they’re saying. GMs can pull up all chat logs at any time and see what you cannot, but multiple reports from yourself and friends can help get a report in faster.

This doesn’t prevent this person from making a new account, but if the new one is linked to their old one, it’s another automatic ban from circumventing a prior ban. Plus, them having to spend money on the base game(s) plus subscription can (hopefully) prevent them from returning.

There is no way for you to hide your Lodestone, sadly. If they have your character ID, they can continue to track you for as long as they want. Only way around it is to delete your main character, or start over again on an alt (and we’d rather not have that, I’m sure).

Considering the OP’s circumstances, I can’t fault them for not feeling flattered by the imitation. People who are stalked can have stalkers that imitate everything about them, and quite frankly, it’s far more unsettling than flattering.

I'm not going to repeat the obvious but also good advice that has already been presented to you. My own advice is a bit unusual.

If you frequently respond to them copying you by changing or dyeing your glam, they will know that trolling you is working and they're probably going to keep doing it. If you stand your ground and maintain whatever glams you have settled on they will eventually get bored and go back to glamming in their own style. Trolls need to be fed, in this case by choosing to not react you would not be feeding them.

You can also make it harder for them to copy you if you're a bit strategic about your style choices:

If the person copying your look is playing as a different race and/or gender to your character you could start glamming in to gear that is race or gender locked. If they're with a different grand company you could use gear only available to your own. You may have access to beast tribe or side-quest gear that they do not. The Gold Saucer has a lot of gear that is pretty expensive, and with the Make it Rain campaign on right now it might be a good time to use any excess mgp. There is a variety of gear that have some very specific prerequisites to equip them, so there is likely something you can wear that they cannot. You could also couple this with gender and race locked hair styles.

You could potentially troll them back by intentionally glamming yourself to look like you're a sprout under lvl 50, or create a ridiculous outfit. But I know this form of retaliation isn't everyone's idea of how to stop this sort of bullying.

However with all this said I do think the best course of action is to style your character however you want and ignore their attempts to copy you. As I said already trolls need to be fed. You do have the power to stop feeding them.

Unfortunately the only thing I can suggest is start a new character if this is bothering you so much. Use a different name, different race/clan/gender combo, etc. This is the only way you can get a new lodestone ID (that I'm aware of, if I'm wrong on this feel free to correct me). Server transfer and name change won't stop them if they're already bookmarked your lodestone page for example. You're going to lose the progress you've made on your current character however. It sucks, but the choices here are either don't let it get to you (some people have given some sound advice on how to show you won't let them walk all over you), or do the idea I suggested.

Thanks for the ideas guys I'm going take in all this advice and right now just consider it a compliment that I am on their mind so much while looking at obtaining the more rarer/GC locked pieces I like.

As a free company lead I built a home in my server so changing is not an option. I have blacklisted them.

Even if you name change, move server etc if the harraser saved your lodestone page it will update.
The only thing to get rid of it (apart from obv reporting/blisting) is make a new character.
