Yanxia: Xaela Tribe Challenges

If u go in the lore section you can see under the naming convention that there's 86ish (that's a guesstimate) known tribes and not all of them are present in the location we have access to. I like the idea of doing more quests with the Xaela as it's my favorite area (used my Fantasia as soon as I got here because I loved it so much) but the only thing I wouldn't do is the yearly fight (forgot the name) as that would conflict with the msq.

Theres 52 tribes, though 1 went extinct fairly recently.


In MSQ we get to meet 5, in sidequests/fates/talking to random NPCs we can interact with members of another 15 or so. I'd love to have quests with some of the ones we only got a few lines from, my Xaela's tribe only got a single little cameo in a sidequest ;-;

Pre SB, Yoshi was hinting that the Xaela guy in Idyllshire would be involved somehow in SB. If you talk to him he nervously implies he's a member of one of the larger tribes..and as of 4.3 nothing has happened to him. So Im holding out hope we'll get more lizard lore from Mr. Piggy eventually.

There is a Sidequest involving his Brother (or... Brother of the Tribe..) mentioning him, why he actually fled from the Steppe and such.

The Quest should be in Reunion.

Oh, I did that quest back when I swept through the steppe's sidequests. I'm gonna be sad if that little nod was all that we get for him being specifically mentioned by Yoshi :c

There are a considerable number of different and unique tribes of the Au'ri Xaela clan scattered throughout Yanxia.

Just wanted to point out that the Azim Steppe is not part of Yanxia - they're separate regions of Othard.

Also, for those saying "steppes", steppe is singular. I also originally thought it looked like it should be plural, and had to look it up to check.

This expansion is missing is a sidequest series that isn't tied to a raid and isn't Hildibrand.

ARR had the postmoogle quests and HW had the Scholasticate stuff, so I'm hoping we'll get something related to Adkiragh, perhaps helping him sort out his tribal issues so he can go home or at least feel safe not wearing that silly pig mask.
