Would be nice if SE created more class unique abilities that can not be cross classed, this would help fix the stale animations a little bit.
Could very well keep the cross class abilities bland for the simplest fact.. the other classes will be able to use them.
More or less a balance between cross class vs non-cross class, at the moment we have way to many abilities that can be cross classed. ; ;

Yup, they just need to add more. would almost help bridge the gap between the classes.. slightly. ^.^
My favorite are Riot Blade and working my butt off to get Simian Thrash.



There's a few good battle animations, such as Luminous Spire and Simian Thrash, but as I said several times the majority of them are lacklustre (especially the conjurer ancient magic spells).

Very true, SE could make few motion captures for each class then expand on them with "fanfare", this would maximize the usage for the captures they created. Also bring more to the plate for now and future animations of the classes.
my only real issue is with spell animations. I mean, sometimes you dont even notice when they go off, especially with debuffs (silence, paralyze, etc). Even the AMs can go unoticed. I want my flare to be big and flashy like in IX!

I am a caster in XIV at heart and when I hit 44 and launched my first AM, I sat there for almost five minutes staring at my screen saying WTF!!!!!
I truly believe atleast spike DMG spells do need to a lot more juice. 100MP +30 seconds and all you get is what looks like someone attempted a blue angel? and phooowwff sound!? makes no sense even the dmg on those spells is so horribly broken. This is something SE I hope is working on or else what is the point to be a caster in this game?
Oh I know I was very disappoint as well. I was warned they were useless but I had to see. So sometimes I sacrifice the occasional Marmot to see my 3000+ damage lol XD
I have no doubt they are working on all of this as we speak.
