    Logitech G13

I have seen past posts of people using their G13 on either PS4 or on PC but I cant get mine to work on either.
On the PS4 it isn't recognized at all.
On the PC it does show as a gamepad and I can select it but it doesn't actually do ANYTHING.
I have loaded a FF14 profile into it so someone had to have gotten it to work on one of them

Is there some sort of extra step that I am missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated

There are a few steps to go through when using any logitech manipulandum on PC.

    Have you...

...set your Logitech Gaming Software to detect when you are in FFXIV so that it switches automatically to your FFXIV profile?
...looked through the profile in LGS to make sure the keys are programmed to do what you want them to do?
...gone into your XIV keybinds to assign each key to do what you expect it to do?

It really works better the other way around, where you first set your keybinds as you would on a normal keyboard, then program the profile to conform to your personal keybinds, but I mention them in this order because you're using someone else's XIV profile. Personally, I would do the first step, then once I know LGS is detecting FFXIV, set up the G13 keys based on my human-set XIV keybinds.

Your best approach is to program it to do what you want. The defaults aren't that great.
I have mine programmed so the row my fingers sit on are number keys. the button under my thumb is CTRL. So i can easy do 1 - 5 and ctrl 1-5.
Other keys i've programmed with with text commands. "/teleport" brings up teleport menu, "/pac heel" makes my egi heel, etc. When you do this you have to put a delay in between the keys. (a check box I think, not in front of that PC right now).
You also have the 3 buttons at the top which lets you have 3 different sets of binds. So I have one for fighting, one for crafting and one with emotes and stuff.
You can also turn off the "threat flashing " if you want. I also have an experimental button where i'm messing with timing - this gives me much more consistent jumps for the various jumping puzzles.
