You should post a tracert to the FFXIV servers to see exactly how your pathed.Hello.
We are still having a lot of ping issues from South America ISP. Telefonica is sending us to a route to Europe before going into NA servers. Since data center relocation, we played with 300 ping, after a while they fixed it, but then it came back to even worse ping till now. At this moment South American Telefonica linked ISP people, are playing with more than 310-350 ping. It feels very frustrating to play. Already called ISP, and posted in a now-closed thread in this forums about that, but not response from anyone.
Do we still keep hope for them to do something?
Thanks in advance!
Open command prompt on your computer and type this into it.
tracert 204.2.229.97
This will show your connection pathing to the server and you can then easily find out what your route is.
This is my tracert from my home to Aether.

You can see that is sends me to amsterdam before sending me back to USA (ae-8.r25.amstnl02.nl.bb.gin.ntt.net). This happens since server relocation, after a while it got normal again, and then, like 6 monthes ago, it went back to this. Can this be fixed somehow?
