Since you like something I feel a need to write a five page essay on why its bad and youre a bad person for liking it, as is tradition on these forums.

But screw that Eureka gave me easy gil and people actually talk there. With a good group of people it can be damn right enjoyable for the few hours youre there, and I liked having to find bunny chests. Sometimes the grind did get tedious but I liked messing with logos and the death train through the fates.

It had a few benefits, but I personally hated the place from start to finish. The gil was nice though, I agree. I made millions upon millions as a result of Eureka. Still though I wonder if it was all truly worth it aside from some nice FF XI glamours which I don't regret obtaining.

I was really disappointed with the reality of how the content turned out. It seemed like they were trying to give a nod to FFXI which I was excited for, but it just devolved into a 2.0 era FATE train spam. Except this time, the FATE were all clustered in the middle of mobs that one-shot you and your party members.

There's just nothing like traversing around in a dangerous world, it feels refreshing. I enjoy the enemies popping up at night too as well as the grind. It feels a lot more relaxing compared to grinding Alex for my Animus in 3.0 and crafting a bunch of garbage.

    Yeah, I love it too.
The speed run grind destroys my will to live.

The main problem for me is that once you got your challenge log done, there's absolutely no means of progressing with the levels in a reasonable way. Killing monsters for xp or NM for xp is not efficient at all.

Also I think losing levels with deaths is a bit too much. I think a good medium would be to yes, lose experience, but not to the point of actually crossing backwards to the previous level. Just losing xp without it would already be a big punishment to let you be more careful with what you do.

Other than that, the worst flaws of Pagos they actually acknowledged and fixed on the following instances.

IMO, once you get passed Pagos, Eureka becomes some great content.
Really love a lot of the NM mechanics, and models.

I'm honestly surprised they haven't used some of the unique models outside of Eureka yet.

Let's give a moment of thought to these poor souls entrapped by Eureka's Stockholm Syndrome...may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

I feel personally attacked since I did Eureka from start to finish, am currently working on my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th weapon.. and well.. I've been in Pyros a long time.

I honestly think Pagos left people too scarred.
Even after the "fixes" is still horrible.
