What Solus said at the end... this is why we are never affected by other Primals, because we are already under the influence of Hydaelyn. We thought we were special. We're just another under influence. Are we? I don't know anymore.

Oh I didn't even think of that! We were tempered by Hydalen so we couldn't be by any other primal.
This isn't really a revelation though. Ifrit made the declaration to us at level twenty; and we went along with every stupid idea Hydaelan had, even being okay with everything that it did with Minfilia. If the relationship was anymore obvious, Hydaelan would've punctuated every request with "would you kindly."
Yes it is. The assumption has always been we were blessed by the Goddess Hydaelan. We have never reacted like the other tempered we've seen which lose all agency. While I did suspect it, it still was a revelation for it to be blatantly said. This isn't really a revelation though. PS. Believing Hydaelan was a goddess was why we were okay with what happened to Minfillia. Or at least were accepting of it. I don't think it has anything to do with being tempered.
We were informed at level 20 Bowl of Embers quest that we were tempered by another. Ifrit. At level 20.Yes it is. The assumption has always been we were blessed by the Goddess Hydaelan. This is not a revelation.
And it had everything to do with being tempered. We were okay with everything that Hydaelan did. We never even attempted to fight for Minfilia. As i said, the only thing that would've made the whole thing more obvious would've been attaching "would you kindly" to her requests throughout the story.
Yep, I've had this debate with countless people. They always thought it was tinfoil hattery.
It feels nice to finally have the tempered by Hydaelyn theory pretty much confirmed.
tbf, it isn't yet confirmed, could be one of those trolling trailer leaks the devs like to put out that to throw us off, could very well be how another person sees them but have no bearing to back it up. Only people that KNOW atm are the devs, speculation can be fun but even the best at it never know for sure till absolutley proven right or wrong when the event comes to pass.
I see... then again I'm not surprised I forgot about his dialogue from 6years ago. Makes things more interesting for me since I forget stuff all the timeWe were informed at level 20 Bowl of Embers quest that we were tempered by another. Ifrit. At level 20.

Honestly? I dig the idea of us being tempered by Hydaelyn. Makes sense, especially with how we're always going off doing what we're told.
Not to mention the hypocrisy of it is kind of amusing; we're being hailed as heroes for effectively being the servant of a primal, but literally anyone else who is enthralled has to be put to death. Sure, it's seen as a blessing by the Goddess Hydaelyn by everyone, but isn't that how the tempered of the other primals believe too? A blessing from their deity?
Go look at the Lore forum. Yes it is a revelation. Ifrit is not omniscient and it's been accepted lore for a long time that he just didn't know what he was talking about. We were informed at level 20 Bowl of Embers quest that we were tempered by another. Ifrit. At level 20.

You seem like you're not religious in the slightest and have very little contact with religion. If your literal god that you worship does something you don't fight against it. Accepting what your god does is part of being a follower of said god. That doesn't mean you like it. But you accept it.
