    1. Give job respective versions of esuna back to SCH and AST and take out of role skills
    2. Rename protect in role skills to something else with the same effect.
    3. Protect given back to WHM with PvP like effects
    4. Shell - straight magic defense on one party member (requires one lily, two lilies doubles the effect, three lilies grants AoE shell)
    5. Remove Break as a role skill or update it
    6. Give push back abilities similar to Fluid Aura to SCH and AST. Update animation to using one palm for badassness
    7. Replace Break role ability with ability 'White Wind'. White Wind effect: Cures self and party members within range. Cure potency: 350. Additional effect: removes most status effects for self and party members within range. Recast: 180 secs.

    Anyone with me on these changes?

    2. Or... just remove it entirely. It serves no design purpose other than as an additional punishment for death, which we already have Weakness/Brink for.

    4. You're describing a worst version of PvP Protect. The Lilly part is also a bad idea - required Lilies were aready removed from DB because playing with it was terrible and promoted bad gameplay, and it would also make it the only spell to do something other than CDR with them, which while a good idea on the surface, becomes less so when it's just the one skill.
    5. I vote for putting the Heavy effect back on Miasma2 and Stella.
    6. ...why? It almost never serves any purpose anyway. We don't need the button bloat.
    7. Oh hey look, another must-take role skill competing for our limited slots.

    No interest to give similar ability 'Fluid Aura' to SCH and AST.


    My wishlist for AST :
    - no CD on Draw for Trial/Raid before the pull.
    - Nocturnal Stance removed or really upgraded this time (not the shield, but abilities tied to Noct : CO, IC, TD, etc) ?
    - An update to his auto-attack ; he would thrown cards remotely.
    - An update to his weapon : the "duel disk" as secondary weapon ; and then some new abilities tied to it (as the kind of "trap cards").
    - Draw of Destiny : a new ability (120 sec cd) which let us draw the card we want (especially for plan Bole in fight, but useful too for Ewer, Balance).
    - Shooting Star : a new (random) ability to plan (180 sec) : sacrifice all your cards (more cards sacrificed, effect more powerful) and a random effect will occur among Dark Hole (big aoe damage), Star Rain (big aoe heal), Nebula (all cards effect on teamate).

    Healers in-general
    1. Better and more interesting DPSing skills and mechanics.
    2. Do something with Protect. It's just a place-and-forget spell that last 30-minutes. It's just boring and is almost a requirement (hell, some tanks refuse to leave the entrance of a dungeon until you put it on). Then replacing it with another Cross-Role action is annoying. Especially if you are in a learning or prog party, where wiping is a thing. You place Protect, swap it out, the fight starts, people start to die but you can't put re-apply Protect on to them. Protect may not be mandatory but lowering the amount of damage the whole party receives for 30-minutes is too good of a boon to ignore.
    3. Change or Remove Break. It's useless. Even in when you're soloing, in the open world, you can either fight things or just run and in solo-instances, most things are immune to Heavy and/or are in a small arena where you can't run from them anyway.
    4. Maybe increase the chances of Eye for an Eye to activate.
    5. Maybe increase Cleric Stance to 10%. I can dream... >w>
    6. Do something with Rescue. It's very gimmicky and people should probably learn when they can push DPS and when they should leave an AoE. I've only every really used it to troll friends and have only ever been in one party where one, solitary Melee DPS thought the healers should be Rescuing them so they can pump out more DPS (even though there was another Melee in the party that was doing more damage then they were and was still dodging AoEs just fine).


    AST
    1. Another DoT would be nice
    2. Change Lady of Crown into something more readily usable. As it is now, You either hold onto Lady til it is useful, which in some fights could take longer then 60 seconds, the time it would take you to draw another card, or you just waste it to overheal a small amount of damage so you have room to potentially draw a Lord. Maybe it could be changed into an HoT? Or some kind of small MP recovering effect?
    3. Change the Benefic Proc. Same as #2, you either try and wait to use it when it would be useful, only this time you have a timer, or waste it on overhealing a small boo-boo. Would removing the timer be overpowered? Or just make it cost free like WHM's Freecure.

    I know it's said in every single healer thread ever, but rework of the Lily system and associated traits. The whole thing is an absolute mess and needs to be changed, from the way we get them to the effect it gives us.

    I'd also like to see more interesting ways to DPS as a healer in general, but as long as SE keeps this stance that healers shouldn't need to dps, we'll probably never get more than what we have now.

    General:
    Balance MP disparity. Broil II shouldn't cost 20% more than Stone IV at less potency. Miasma II shouldnt cost 233% more than Aero III. I would put it at 150% the cost of Broil II.
    Make Miasma II based on location, like bane/gravity so its easier to maintain good weave practices, instead of chaining yourself to melee range.

    Fairy:
    Seperate the role identity of Eos and Selene.
    Just pick what it is and go for it. Personally I would say single target healing fairy vs AOE healing fairy. We shouldnt try to add more DPS buffing support to healers. It already causes too much one sided love to the healers than can up a DPS' numbers.

    With this, Fey union could be AOE based (100-150 potency) with Eos and single target with selene (same potency as it is now.) Selene could replace her single Silent Dusk with a larger potency single target heal (to contrast with Eos party wide heal over time.)

    Balance SCH DPS with fun gameplay. Right now it feels very clunky, but the overall DPS/RDPS is the best of all healers. I would rather they bring SCH closer to the other healers, but still flow.

    WHM

    Make lillies more relevant to gameplay. Don't make us go out of way to get them. Combine confessions with Lillies. Using Medica, Medica II, Cure III, Cure II, or cure generates a lilly. Every time a lilly is gained removed time from all abilities it currently Affects Potency is now affected by lillies instead of cool down. 5%, 10%, 20%. The only real downfall to this is how annoying it could continue to make gameplay, avoiding using tetra, for example, so that you can hit with a harder assize. Reduce the cool down of plenary indulgence. Based around WHM at 30 Yalms. Same potency as confessions.

    AST
    Ast is in a realllly good spot as is. I would continue to create skills that diverge from SCH/WHM playstyle. I really love everything theyve made so far for AST in SB. Just like previous posters, maybe they could add a "positive thinking" or "Will over the future" to draw specific cards outside of battle. It would be difficult to make without someone finding a way for abuse, but that's really all AST suffers from. Bad RNG prepull.

    Healer general:

    Balance role skills. Keep quirky skills, remove things that are mandatory or increase slots available.

    I was thinkign about bringing healers back up for DPS relative to the max DPS and the tank's current DPS, but actually looking back, the classes just had such a large DPS difference within the tank and healing roles. The top Tank DPS was War at about 65% and the Top Healer was at 52% (compared to 45% now.) The other healers were in this 45% range.

    It would have to be 1.5 seconds or you're still clipping. All OGCDs take 1 second minimum. Its why the AST change was so solid. Aal healers really should have gotten it, but AST needed it for quality of playstyle alone. WHM DPS needs brought up a smidge and SCH brought down a little less.

    New Healer - Dancer
    I know this isn't new or special since Dancer's requested pretty heavily from a lot of people both as a healer or DPS, but I do strongly believe it will be such a great choice, especially because of its potential to not feel like the current healers. I love Astrologian, but it didn't do much in the way of giving healers something other than a mystical, robe-wearing spell caster to choose from.

    Overall Changes:
    Revamped Role Actions: Half of the Healer role actions are useless (i.e. Break, Cleric Stance, etc.) and the other half are imperative (Lucid Dreaming, Protect, etc.). Role actions have the opportunity to be interesting and unique mechanics that allow healers to further customize their style of play and should include more interesting tools.

    The ability to equip specific glamour plates: I have multiple glamour plates for each healer, but it's slightly annoying to have to constantly change my glamour every time I swap jobs, especially if I'm in an area that won't allow me to.

    Job Specific:
    White Mage -
    Replace Fluid Aura: Not only is Fluid Aura basically useless, but could we please just get an offensive water spell? Conjurer's are supposed to be about this natural trinity of Earth, Wind, and Water, and the first useful water ability White Mages get is Asylum at level 52. Really? But speaking of elements...
    Quake, Tornado, and Flood: I'd love to see these integrated into the White Mages kit, but not as a potency upgrade of Stone, Aero, and Water. I'd like to see these play a more interesting role in the White Mages ability set and somehow compliment their healing nature rather than just be for DPSing.
    Reworked Lilies: Lilies are currently the most uninteresting and uninspired gauge mechanic in Stormblood while also having nothing to do with the White Mage's lore besides that they look pretty. I want to see this get overhauled into something more thematically appropriate, and could even play into that Quake, Tornado, Flood thing I mentioned.

    Scholar -
    Update Ruin, Bio, and Miasma spells: Just like how Broil replaced Ruin, I'd like to see the other Arcanist DPS tools get updated and renamed into something that helps Scholar further differentiate itself from Summoner. I was thinking of some of the spells from 11 like Choke, Rasp, and Frost for Bio II, Miasma, and Miasma II respectively, and Drown for Ruin II. The Ruin II update should also be stronger than the Miasma II update since Miasma II is just flat out better in everything except MP management.
    Make Selene feel more satisfying: Selene's Fey Wind is basically carrying her kit right now. Yes, Fey Caress can be useful at times, but its still super situational compared to Eos' Fey Illumination or Fey Covenant. I want something that makes Selene's kit feel just as satisfying in regards to either Fey Caress and Silent Dusk being updated or replaced altogether.
    Make Dissipation feel more satisfying: I know this argument has been beaten to death, and I'm not going to argue that Dissipation is useless because its updates have at least given it a niche, but it still feels horrible to use. I never want to use it even in situations where it could benefit me because of how bad it feels to use. I want something that feels great. Indomitability feels great. Bane feels great. Chain Stratagem feels great. Fey Union feels... acceptable. Dissipation feels awful. Maybe make it so that the fairy doesn't disappear, but simply channels her energy into you to empower you? That would feel better, especially if you could choose to end it like Fey Union.

    Astrologian -
    Spire Change: I'd like to see Ewer drop its MP refresh and tack that onto Spire. Spire's usefulness would still be niche, but if it applied both the MP and TP refreshes, A) The card would now be applicable to every job like all the other cards, and B) spreading it to the entire team would (still be useless) actually provide something to each recipient (Not that anyone would do that, but at least it wouldn't only impact 2-6 members of the team). You could also rework Ewer into something more interesting. I'd like to say a HoT effect since that would maintain Ewer's duality with Spire, but I'm not sure how good or bad that might be.
    That's it for Astro, actually. They're in a really great spot and feel pretty good to play across the board.
