Much like the original announcement of FF Versus XIII, I'm totally expecting the collab to take roughly 10 years to be added. Please look forward to it in September November 2026.

Might want to read the post I was responding to (sarcastically but in good natured humor) and try your own response again, chief.

It's not like I was clearly referencing the 10 year troubled development of FFXV, with poking a bit of fun at the last minute delay by two additional months, and attaching it to the FFXV+FFXIV potential collab that was last talked about in 2016, or anything like that. Nope, nothing at all in my post clearly gives that impression.

I wish the reward is Rathalos mount though, look way better than Twintania in the wyvern category.

I'd rather get his armor personally.
We have a real lack of monster-like armor in the game and it would work great in XIV I think.

I know this won't happen BUT.... how cool would it be if you could substitute a Palico as your companion instead of a Chocobo? I mean, I love my featured buddy, but I'd love a Palico even MORE.

and the armor is ugly.

Certainly better than most of the armor we've gotten in the past year or so, so I'd welcome some of it in this game.

I wouldn't mind the rugged aesthetic most MH armors have for my tank glams, since I prefer that to a knightly look for a female Xaela.

It would be great if this collab ended up as expansive as the Garo one with unique armor sets and weapons for each role/job, though.

Looking forward to it. From what I've heard so far, gotta beat Stormblood MSQ, get to 70, and when watching IGN sounded like we're gonna have a trial in this event.

I just hope it isn't another zerg fest like Ixion or Eureka where there are so many players that just about every object gets culled and you spend your time dying to invisible things.

Curious to see how that plays out. Events have, for as long as I've been playing and can recall at least, been accessible to most of the player base. I can't really recall any that have been any higher than level 20 or 30 max (and can't even think of any that high, but, conservative estimate).

They can't possibly expect us to enjoy an Ifrit NM-level event, and it seem unreasonable to expect this to only be accessible to players that have bought SB expansion and are level capped. Level 50 end of ARR maybe, but even that would be tedious. And syncing all low level players up will be a nightmare, dumping piles of new skills that most won't even understand.

So, special set of duty-only actions? Specially synced stats?
