New Crafting Class

So I have thinking.....with the lack of customization for our avatars we have a new crafting class - aesthetician or barber. Let them craft new excercises or hairstyles that other players can utilize . Can it work? Am I crazy? (Well I am, but not the point) let’s discuss!

Uh, we already do have an aesthetician, he's an npc though. An actual playable class for that though would be interesting, but I think it would just be far too difficult for SE to design, let alone balance correctly. An original concept though, so kudos for creativity!

But we already have an Aesthetician you can access from the inn room or your house.

Having a crafter focused entirely on glamour would hardly be sustainable.

An entire crafting class focused around glamour items like that wouldn't really work but they should give items like hairstyles to alchemist I think.

I want a magitek engineer crafting class. Let us use that allagan technology to build machines and minions and magitek weapons.

Let the aesthetician crafter just right click on any other character and do the work without the control of the other player? Or sell every single shade of hair color as an item?

A barber in the language used in FFXIV refers to someone who cut more than just hair. The full title was the "barber-surgeon", meaning that a barber class in the game would be a first aid class.

Let the aesthetician crafter just right click on any other character and do the work without the control of the other player? Or sell every single shade of hair color as an item?

I would think something along the lines of the crafter would create tattoos, hairstyles, colors, etc, and then these would be sold to players who can activate them similar to what we do with current new hairstyles....just double click and it's added to your pallette. Not quite sure on deets, but that was what i was looking for.
