Help with lost retainers

About two years ago I deleted my character. I had it immediately restored (within hours) then stopped playing the game until a few days ago. However, I cannot find my extra retainers. I never checked to make sure all of my retainers were restored as well. I had tons of gear and glamour of those retainers. I tired putting in a ticket but got nothing but a canned response. Is there anyone that can look into this? I'm thinking those extra retainers were not restored two years ago. I know its a long shot. Any help would be much appreciated.

If you mean retainers you were paying for past the initial 2 you get free, then I’m pretty sure you will have to start paying for them again to gain access.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. I added the additional retainer service to my account but I don't see any other others. Do I have to select those old retainers for them to show up on the summoning bell?

Go the the Retainer Vocate and see if you can rehire them there.

Hmm strange. I’ve never purchased addditonal retainers, so don’t really know how it all works. I would imagine if you are paying for a 3rd+ retainer they should just show up at the bell along with the first 2, or you should be able to hire them at the vocate if you have yet to do so.

That's what I would expect too. The retainer services page said "contract suspended" would be next to retainers' name if they were inactive. Instead I've just never seen them since I returned. I know I had more retainers than just the two. I had a bunch of caster gear/glamour and a bunch of tank glamour. Also my relics were on them. My first two retainers were exactly as I remember them in two years ago. I've tired putting in a ticket but nothing. Do GM's respond on this forum? Is there a better way to get their attention?

Also, I had transfered servers right before I deleted my character. Like it all happened in the same evening.

Has anyone heard of extra retainers taking longer to transfer over when doing a server transfer?

My last ditch effort is going to be transferring back to my old server in hopes of them magically showing up on my retainer list

Even if you have inactive additional retainers ("contract suspended") they stay with your character after a transfer. I had to rename an inactive retainer when I transferred an alt to another server.
I guess the support didn't restore any of your extra retainers. They should appear with the "Contract suspended" when inactive.



You need to contact support since they say in the FAQ page:

"Any retainers hired by deleted characters were also deleted automatically. If data for the deleted character/retainer cannot be found, we will not be able to restore them."

But at the same time in the character restoration request page:

"If your deleted character had any retainers, the retainers would have also been deleted. If you would like to request your retainers to be restored as well, please include retainer information in the form."

Maybe they need the name of your retainers to locate them.
