I'm a Summoner, but can't use Summoner Spells?

A few days ago, I did the Austerities of Flame quest, and the game *told* me that I had become a Summoner and had unlocked Summon III. However, I was unable to access them. Opening the Actions & Traits menu, I can still only see Arcanist spells. However, in the character menu, it says clear as day that I'm a level 35 Summoner off to the left, but underneath my level and above my character, it says that I'm an Arcanist.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there some sort of super-secret button I need to press to finally make the switch over and access the stuff I've unlocked, or is my character just bugged out?

EDIT: Found out you had to actually equip the soul stone on to your character.
None of my friends knew this either despite them having leveled up and achieved the job rank, so I guess this was another instance of people being unhelpful.
Also apparently you can't delete posts here. Hopefully someone can resolve that. Sorry for any mixups.
