Would love the option to hide or simplify (to just a circle or line) the LB3 animation. As it was already mentioned here, deaths happen in raids just due to all this flashy stuff prevent us seeing the actual boss mechanics.

saw two Dragoon LB on each side of cloud of darkness once
that was cool
i agree to tone down RDM LB3
I might be wrong, but I think you can turn off (or dim down) the animations of other characters through your uhm... graphic settings in game. Not sure if this would apply to LBs, though. I don't think I've ever noticed an RDM LB3, though. I think I recall BLM's and... BRD's and... that's about it... /very observant

With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.

Dragoon's LB when Famfrit was about to do his Tidal attack = ok, which direction should I run to, your chance of survival = 75% !

Would rather see them just bring back the option to tone down the animations for the LB3s like we used to be able to, than have RDM's adjusted. It's a really beautiful LB3 and provided it's timed right, usually isn't a huge danger to the raid for its usage.
Also by no means is the only flashy and somewhat-blinding animation out there.

I don't have to imagine it, seen it plenty of times in Rabanastre - as I said in one of my first posts in the thread.
I still think the solution is just giving people an option to tone LB3 effects down the way we used to, than just completely dull RDM's LB3 animation. That way at least you aren't upsetting all the people who enjoy it, but are giving others the option to not die to the atomic bomb going off.
Also agree to a slight damage immunity period when using a healer LB3. WHM's in particular really is a "suicide res" at the best of times.
