Can we get an option to hide them or turn them off like we can for party / non party members?
Can we get an option to hide them or turn them off like we can for party / non party members?
An option would be nice. Normally I wouldn't care - I love seeing LB3s - but oh my god I have died to stupid mechanics twice in the last week because I couldn't see through the brilliance that is the RDM LB3.

I wish we could clip LB animations on our own without outside help.
I'm sorry, I can't see your request over the RDM LB3 animations.
On a serious note, well timed LB3 is great, but a poorly timed one can make for a dangerous time when it concerns RDMs using it, since it covers damn well everything.
The question is at this point, do we want the option to disable them, or do we want the RDM LB animation adjusted? Both would be nice. I like seeing LBs and some are definitely more intrusive than others.
We used to be able to hide or lower them, but for some reason or another SE went and forced their full appearance no matter your settings. Quite frustrating. I hate them for the same reason I have all other spell effects turned down: as a melee, it's an absolute nightmare trying to see incoming mechanics when the boss is obscured by fire, lights, and smoke. Things that the caster Limit Breaks have an abundance of.
Please, SE, restore our ability to dial them back.
With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
I guess I can see why this option would be favorable, but I am also like, "why?"
There are still some I have yet to see, including both RDM and SAM.
Would love the option to hide or simplify (to just a circle or line) the LB3 animation. As it was already mentioned here, deaths happen in raids just due to all this flashy stuff prevent us seeing the actual boss mechanics.
saw two Dragoon LB on each side of cloud of darkness once
that was cool
i agree to tone down RDM LB3
