Hunting Log already completed

I got this on one new character as well. For me it cleared up by simply logging out and logging in again, after which the hunting log showed the correct state.

Neither hunting log nor map completion is shared among characters.

I did what you said you did and just logged into the character again now, and while the hunting log did reset as far as maps go i zoned into north shroud to test it and i uncovered all of the map in one go and got the achievement. I'm glad the hunting log was resolved though, must have been because i was recently on my main before i switched.
