    Are you talking about your Xbox wireless? Or one that you picked up that is specificly made for PC?

    I tried to use my 360 controller a couple years ago(using the charging cord plugged into USB), but it never worked.
    I went to best buy and for $60 bucks you get one that has a wireless adapter that plugs into the USB. But for the above mentioned reasons...I switched over to corded and never looked back.

    It works if you just have the charging station usb cord, well it does on win7 soon as you plug it in it's installs the drivers for it.
