As I suspected. The blog post is misleading people. It's too good to be true. It's the total amount of MGP from 3 weeks of event without 50% bonus.

But that doesn't make sense. The post in question specifically said "during the campaign", but for the duration we are getting 50% increase, so we'll be making more than 30k and 150k...

The post in question also stated right above it "Speaking of pockets overflowing, allow us to offer some tips on making MGP" but most missed that part when reading the blog and assumed the section was instead referring to increased rewards during the event. It's not, they were just advising on ways to get MGP and how much you can get from it during the event (pre-bonus). Obviously the way it was worded didn't help when people took it out of context.

They explicitly mentioned the campaign. To leave out the +50% is just negligent. Either way you cut it, the amounts advertised are wrong.

Mistakes happen. It's still worth doing, just not quite as much as we were looking forward to.
