New Crafting Class

I would think something along the lines of the crafter would create tattoos, hairstyles, colors, etc, and then these would be sold to players who can activate them similar to what we do with current new hairstyles....just double click and it's added to your pallette. Not quite sure on deets, but that was what i was looking for.

I don't think the style of job you're envisioning is complex enough that another existing crafter class couldn't already encompass.

So I have thinking.....with the lack of customization for our avatars we have a new crafting class - aesthetician or barber. Let them craft new excercises or hairstyles that other players can utilize . Can it work? Am I crazy? (Well I am, but not the point) let’s discuss!

This wouldn't be doable for the specific reason why you can't just move blobs of hair around at character creation. The hair is basically it's own animated object, it's not controlled by physics like it is in FFXV.

You'd basically be crafting the hair styles that are already in the game ... and I don't know what from.

I think a painter/artist class would be really cool (since you can buy paintings from vendors anyhow). Not sure if there's a crafting class that can already make paintings (like, I think... carpenter can renew faded composition pieces?).

Robotics engineer. That creates mounts and other types of machines.

Besides some kind of engineer, what else even is there? Our bases are pretty well-covered with the current class and we even have borderline redundancy with BSM and ARM.

A DoL that acquires mats like leather or anything that the current gatherers don't. Also a barber like I said on the first page that could create medical alternatives.

I'd also love to see crafted mounts as well.

I really wish they'd expand the character customization though.

How about a Writer? He could produce magic scrolls with 1-time magic spells on it (the ink he get from the Alchemist)

Mounts are something a bit more special - as for crafted mount we do have one - the Flying Chair. Mounts should be something meaningful. I mean we do already have over 100 available to us but if there were like 1000 no.
