Unable to purchase Modern Aesthetics - Rainmaker

I'm unable to purchase the Rainmaker hairstyle from the Golden Saucer NPC. I get the error that I'm unable to carry more than one of the untradable item, yet I do not have any in my or my retainer's inventories. I do not have the option to use the hair style on my retainers, so I know that I have not already used it. I may have bought it during the last Make it Rain campaign and thrown it away, maybe.

If you have used the manual that unlocks the hairstyle then it will be with the Aesthetician. Did you check all the hairstyles he has available?

Yes, as the person above said, this won’t be available in the retainer editing screen. None of the special hairs are. You’ll have to check the aesthetician instead. Also, just to be sure, right-click on the item at the npc and select search. That will tell you for sure if you’ve got it, in case you’ve overlooked it.
