Gm Dorxenore: Places blame on the players harassed

This GM doesn't read the report and does NOT understand the rules that SE provides. Several players were harassed in a duty and as well was targeted outside the duty by the harassing player. The player was reported by myself and others that witnessed this and were harassed themselves. Gm Dorxenore as per his rep as a GM, stated that the player that was swearing and harassing players in and out of the duty, was NOT against the rules , there was nothing he could do and that It was my fault for not Blacklisting before the assaulting player swears/ harassing me XD . This is completely false and is a mistake that GM Dorxenore made as a GM for this game. Other GM's see these reports as serious, except Gm Dorxenore. He is very unhelpful and puts the blame on the reporting players. The other players that have been harassed as i have been, got other GM's and they got a totally different tone and response than I. As a player and SE customer that has spent over $3k on FF i am deeply saddened by the quality of this rep (Gm Dorxenore).

Aslo, The GM Dorxenore even stated, That because I mentioned that the party was harassed and the fact that others witnessed the assaulting player. I was somehow abusing the the service by pointing out there was more people offended by the harassing player. Even though they to filed reports at the same time as I did, they got Gm's that followed the correct response and even commended players for reporting the bad player. This incident discouraged me from reporting grief tactics and harassment in the future.

That being said, I have dealt with GM's before and they were very professional and fantastic at what they do. Overall I'm very pleased with GM's and the staff in FFXIV, but this last encounter really sours the exp and makes me wish i had another Gm to deal with the problem instead of the one I got.

Harassment

The use of inappropriate or offensive language, whether or not directed at another player, is considered harassment and is strictly prohibited.Using inappropriate language (including any play on words that could be deemed offensive) in a character name; Free Company name, Linkshell, Chocobo or Retainer name; Party Finder or Search Comment; or any other publicly-displayed message also constitutes harassment.SQUARE ENIX evaluates all claims of harassment on a case-by-case basis. If SQUARE ENIX determines in its sole discretion that one or more players have engaged in harassment, SQUARE ENIX may issue account penalties to all players involved in the harassment.

Below is a non-exhaustive list of language that could constitute harassment:

·Language generally considered unacceptable in a public place.

·Language intended to harm, annoy, threaten, or harass a third party.

·Language promoting discrimination against any race, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, gender, or disability.

·Language promoting violence against any person, group of people, or property.

·Language intended to elicit a negative response or that could trigger negative debates or conflicts.


There may be other types of harassment that do not fit squarely into the above-described categories, such as when a player attempts to bypass anti-harassment mechanics like the blacklist or language-filter features. SQUARE ENIX may determine that such conduct constitutes harassment, even if such conduct is not expressly prohibited herein.
