    FFXIV API System

    Hello,

    Are there any plans to provide a API system for character/LS/world information? If not, please consider it!!

    A great example would be the EVE Online API system. It's incredibly robust, and very useful. You may not think that the information that could be available through API would be useful... but I promise you, CCP thought the same thing before they released theirs, and afterwards they where blown away by the tools the playerbase was able to create with the information.

    And for developers it adds a whole new aspect to the game.

    SE has stated they are implementing an add-on system in 2.0

    Maybe this will also include API for external uses.
