    Angry Kick Abuse and Reporting

I wish it was as easy to report people for this as it was RMT advertisers because it happens frequently. Every time I report but it's a chore to have to wait for a GM to respond and when they do you better pray you're not in a duty. I was unlucky enough to be in Castrum Meridianum so I couldn't respond and the GM left. Anyways, can any GM answer what actually happens to the people after they're reported? Kick abuse is extremely annoying and I'd like to know if anything is done at all. There's a policy I read in the game that says they don't tell the victim if any actions were taken. Why not?! I would like to know what's done, if anything, or am I wasting my time reporting?

If you're being kicked from unrelated groups frequently, that's not abuse. That's dealing with what sounds like an obvious problem.

Do you report every groups that kicks you? Have you thought about why you are being kicked so frequently like you claim to be?

Before you go blaiming them allegedly. It does happen people do kick one another just for the sake of being disliked. Being disliked by a party is not a good enough reason to be kicked out. Cause if they're not liked, as long as they're following the rules, you cannot kick them technically.

Kick Abuse is when you misuse the reason why the player is kicked, for it gives you the options on why you wish to kick this player.

Verbal Abuse, Griefing, AFK, Disconnection, and Cheacting if I'm not mistaken.

If you dare to kick someone by FALSE accusations and reports, you (not you just you in general) are abusing the system and for that, the person who is doing the reporting should be caught and reported themselves.

You must be a real piece of work if this is a common occurrence
The fact that you feel the need to talk to a GM about every kicking is kind of telling as well
No this sort of thing does happen, and it is only right that those who abuse the system with FALSE kick and reporting should be reported themselves

No one said kick abuse doesn't happen. However, based on the way the OP frames their issue they're being kicked very frequently from multiple unrelated parties. I don't think it's very difficult to figure out what the problem is.

I'm also not quite sure why you think kicking someone because you "dislike" them is against the rules, especially when that dislike generally would stem from the player's actions, which is a valid reason to kick.

GMs have also all but said that you can kick for reasons other than what the system shows you. For example, the (in)famous "differences in playstyle", which is a pretty broad ruling that covers just about everything but very clear harassment.

Finally found it. Now I don't know much about your precise circumstances, but the sentiment still holds.

As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.

Ah, I remember that. There's a reason it became my signature. Silent kicks (without saying a word) are treated as "Playstyle Difference" kicks. Unless they're openly hostile to you in chat, it'll be treated as "Playstyle Differences" - so find out what it is you're doing wrong to warrant so many kicks and fix it is all I can say. Because of the "Playstyle Differences" shield GMs use, you can bet your bottom dollar they won't do anything.
