    The new lockout teleportation feature is nice, but

    Why does it automatically teleport me into the boss arena at the end of the timer regardless of whether or not I click to do so?

    It's not a frequent occurrence, but it's happened enough times where life calls (as it does), and I have to step away from the keyboard for a moment, and someone pulls the boss, and when I return I see I'm dead on the floor of the arena.

    Why.

    Because there's no reason not to? Ok so you afked. You're back aaaaand you're locked out of the fight. Your party is one player short.
    The teleport, on the other hand, means you can still be rezzed within the fight and contribute.

    Also keeps people from using cutscenes as a way to force the party to carry them.

    If the boss does a mechanic that I am literally not there to move out of the way from, and I wind up dead from it, that's reason enough in my eyes not to forcibly move me into the arena.

    The cutscene thing, I get that, however.

    Being raised and participating in the fight with a debuff is better than just standing outside the arena doing nothing.

    Better dead inside, than outside with no way in. At least this way, you can get revived.

    Because it makes no difference if you're AFK for the whole fight?

    AFK->not moved to boss-> locked out-> not able to help
    AFK->moved to boss->dead->not able to help

    Either way, if you're afk, I don't see why you care that you end up dead or not, your party's still doing the boss without you. It's not like you're penalized heavily for dying. A few repair costs, and a debuff (which if it was a boss, you will most likely have a whole minute to get the debuff off for the next one)

    And if you come back before the boss is dead, you can be rezzed and help out, something you wouldn't be able to do if you were left out the whole time.

    The only reason I can come up with why anyone'd rather get locked out of a fight than get the rez debuff is someone who cares too much about parsers. There's absolutely no other downside to this sort of thing. Eat the rez and help your party, and if it's a longer afk? As others said, it shouldn't matter, you're not even there.

    I'd sooner say they should give you rez-immunity after you're teleported in, rather than cancel the teleport.

    Because clicking only moves you instantly, where the timer is ticking you down to moving you. You will be moved either way.

    If it didn't you would have that inevitable rash of "LOL misclicked" players. Same reasoning behind why you have to deliberately return to Home Point or decline a Raise now. I'm not even sure how this is a valid complaint. Now you can still potentially participate even if you have to be revived instead of being locked out for the remainder of the encounter.

    My main point is this: If I'm still AFK, and the thing moves me to the arena to die, and I don't click on the revive thing, why even forcibly move me to the arena? Bigger point: why does the "get warped to the arena" thing even have a timer if it'll just automatically move you in anyways?
    As far as dude said with the cutscene thing, that is all well and good. I'd rather that you not get forcibly moved into the arena with the option to teleport into it, and get rid of the time limit before being automatically moved in regardless.
