The more you die to your own stupidity the higher your rolls (particularly on rare or valuable items) will be.

1) If you manage to keep that tank who refuses to pop cooldowns or tank stance and is undergeared alive the entire dungeon, you get no comm. But if you're that tank, you're triple comm'ed.
2) The pony is reserved for the worst player.
3) If you aren't a female Miqo'te or a female Au ra, you're minority and thus S-E don't like you. And if you're a male Lalafell, the community also hates you or wants to use you as food.
4) Healer dies at dungeon = wipe. Even when there is a SMN and/or a RDM alive. Exception only when the boss can be killed before the last regen tick.
5) If you have 99% chance of hitting something, you'll miss way more than 1% of the times.

From the times I TRIED to SC+Raise a tank or a healer in 4-mans, the problem is, too many mobs are pulled. Without the tank being constantly healed, he will die. If the tank dies, the healer is dead 2 seconds later and so is everybody else.
On boss fights, eh. Sometimes rezzing someone will work in a 4-man boss fight but you gotta be quick and it depends on what AoEs the boss is doing and when. Always love rezzing a healer who dies exactly 2 seconds after getting back up on their feet because there was simply no way they could possibly get out of a huge AoE that they're in when they stood up.

-That one time you manage to actually roll a 98, you can be assured the player that was dead on the arena floor the entire fight rolled a 99.
If CainCrimson is in your PUG run as a healer, there is a mandatory fee of $20,000 gil to be mailed to him from each member before during or after completion.

Gathering = steady paycheck
Crafting = HUGE but unstable paycheck

Not to side track but on the previous points about dead players getting high rolls, I'm sure I read about a mechanic in the game where bad players get the loot to get them away quicker and that's why dead players always roll high or the troll always wins the roll... is it true or just a coincidence enough it's become a "thing" ??
If you're running titan you can be sure someone is going over the edge if not someone will still throw themselves just to keep up tradition. I ran titan ex unsynced once and to keep tradition out healer jumped for it and rescued me at same time. It was beautiful.

If it's not 100% chance to gather it might as well be 0%.
If you didn't roll a 100, you're losing that roll.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
Finding that one gear drop you've been searching for in raid and the guy with the arrows and the harp gets it. X'D
I've come to find humor in dungeon raids now when that happens to me. X'3

The chance of getting a certain Raid / Dungeon / Trail , is directly proportional to you NOT wanting to get that specific one.
