Game started crashing on Travels.

I have almost 300 hours. I have been playing the game for a month with no issues what so ever. Until Sunday evening. I finished the post-patch heavensward content and went to start StormBlood. However upon imitating travel to the Fringe I crashed to my desktop with no error code. Booting the game up again and pick my character after waiting in the queue, it crashed immediately.

Trying some fixes and nothing worked. I resorted to reinstalling the game overnight. It worked fine. Next day I played for maybe 3 hours and it crashed on traveling somewhere in Thanalan. Just like before. This continued to happen just like before. The time between crashes becoming shorter and shorter. Sometimes crashing when the screen went black for transitions, sometimes the moment the Travel cast started and while transferring to a Dungeon from Queue. Each time I crash I still log back in at the destination I travelled to.

I am beyond frustrated with this and how it doesn’t seem to be a common issue with a simple fix. And I do not run any kind of reshade to the game or any for of modification. And run the game through the 14 windows Launcher.

I have done many things.
-Updated Graphics Drivers
-Updated Windows
-reinstallation
-Removing the FF14 folder in the My Games folder after making a backup and renaming the back up.
-Running in Admin (It crashes after playing for 10 minutes on a Travel)
-Running my Graphics Card in Debug mode
-Simple Restarts
-Making sure FF14 is the only thing running
-Disabling Overlays (which I have been playing with this whole time and never had a single issue with)
-Turning down graphics before loading (was never an issue before)
-Running the game not with DirectX 11

This all started happening the Moment I started Stormblood and continues to plague me to the point of making the game unplayable.



I did another reinstall last night, moving the game and launcher to my C: Drive where before it was kept on an external SSD. I have yet to launch the game today due to work. But I want to get opinions and suggestions if this crashing issue comes back like it did yesterday.

Edit: Upon attempting to play after having the game moved to my C: Drive I have been able to play for some time. 5 or 6 hours and there has been no crashing. So my issue either seems to have been resolved with my traveling frequently and doing a few dungeons.
