Remove role action Rescue : only a tool for trolling and poor gameplay

I wouldn't go so far as to say that rescue should be removed, but it absolute can and does get used to harass other players, and it does have some usability issues aside from it. I've seen rescue abused or misused more often than I've seen it used correctly. Twice I've experienced a healer, each time in an alliance raid for some reason, deciding they wanted to try and get me killed in an AOE by rescuing me into it. Aside from that I've had failed rescues happen more than a rescue that's actually helped me. Which is likely due to the server not registering your new location until after the rescue yank animation plays out. Then again, that delay actually saved me from dying one of those times where a healer was trying to kill me with it, so I guess I can't be too critical about it.

Rescue should be opt in or opt out. I get really annoyed when random healers rescue me thinking they know better. (99% of the time, they don't.)

Four days ago, my first time experiencing firsthand rescue grieving

My current gameplay days: 346d, so since day 1, I've only experienced my own firsthand grieving rescue in my 342nd day. How do/can I be pretty sure it was grieving? It was a trial roulette: Suzaku. Everything was smooth as butter. At 5% health remaining the other healer circled around the pithole on the middle, positioning themselves on the opposite site from where I was standing, then hits that rescue button. To the abyss I fell. There was no mechanic going on at the moment. If that wasn't done on purpose, then I don't know what was that.

Was it uncomfortable? Definitely. Do I want Rescue to go away? Never. If any, they have to improve the function. The obnoxious delay is what usually kills people. And no, I don't count troll rescue between friends.

It's pretty useful in the new EX primal and helping BRD/MCH since they don't have knockback immunity or gap closers.

I don't see it used often honestly. It's hard to fit into cross skills with other mandatory choices filling up almost half the slots most of the time so that stops people from slotting it in the first place.

Shame that some people use it for trolling but the same could be said for Shirk. I don't think it has to be removed, just remove the player if they are intentionally doing it and causing problems.

Don't ranged physical have arms length for the same standard knockback immunity? I think all roles have it in one form or another. Though yeah, they don't get to dash around like dancers do.

I really doubt you have been experiencing bad rescues more often. Besides there's a difference between helpful threads, titanmen threads and threads with outdated/incorrect information.
