Remove role action Rescue : only a tool for trolling and poor gameplay

You are wasting your time.

1: Report the player for griefing. - If the GM says no...then you obviously messed up.
2: The skill is very useful and properly tuned for what it can do. I've used it myself for helping my sprouts dodge some nasty AoE's.

Just because you hate the skill..doens't mean its wrong.....its how its used.
Deal with the root problem..not with the skill.

This is akin to saying Car's are wrong and should be banned because people get killed by them. The Car is a machine....the driver is the one who determines its use. And yes I realize cars can have defects/issues with it....the point is still valid as I've seen rescue misfire due to latency or other things as well.

Just because you've seen it abused..doesn't mean everyone else is abusing it...that's a statement out of ignorance.

It's roughly as I said, it's either people use it to troll or try to use it and fail.
Maybe you guys do use it right and whatever, I never said I never saw it used right, but the strong experience I have of that skill being used on me or other players around me is just that : trolls and fails.
And just lurk a little and you'll see similar threads.

Rescue is actually the only skill that can be used to move a player character other than yours.
That specificity in itself is crucial, and is the one being exploited to grief other people.

Most UCOB runs didn't need Rescue at all.

Leap of Faith causes the exact same problems in WoW. Rarely do you see players using it as intended, it's usually a guild run when it is. Outside of guilds, it's used for griefing the majority of the time.

A neat a concept as it is, it's usually used for the opposite effect. Players have been killing bosses for years without Rescue. They'll continue killing them if it's removed from the game and probably with a better success rate as the griefers stop intentionally killing group members for their sociopathic giggles.

I completely agree this ability should be removed they should never make abilities that control the actions of another character in any mmo. On my healer I will never use this ability and pretend its not even there. The moment anyone uses it on me regardless of the situation they will be reported.
