Remove role action Rescue : only a tool for trolling and poor gameplay

I've actually been saved by Rescue quiet a few times! I often don't pay attention to my surroundings so its nice to be rescued when I mess up and almost die, i always have a good laugh and thank the healer for pullin me out of harms way like that XD i haven't been trolled with it tho i think, im pretty sure i've messed with FC mates with it tho :P

I've used rescue a couple times on players who say they're new at the start of a raid, or even ones who don't. When Irminsul comes up, a rock, or something everybody needs to get behind, I start counting party members and sometimes one, two, or even three are missing. In this situation, yeah, rescue is really warranted. I also would appreciate it if a co-healer would rescue me after LB3 coz it makes for a really dramatic death to AOEs I should say.

On the serious, though - it's been a useful tool to help save someone at the last minute or assist in proximity-based mechanics (the bomb with whatshisface in Doma Castle, the Rush move from the wooly mammoth in Bardam, etc.) The extremely lengthy cooldown for the skill also means it is not in any way abuseable - at least not to the degree actual trolls would wish it to be.

Also if dps would learn to stop standing in bad, maybe I wouldn't have to use it so much.

I've never been trolled with it, but I have been 'rescued' with it when learning mechanics during Susano and the new ex trial. We had the same move in swtor and it was great for helping teammates with certain mechanics in pve and pvp.

You must be in a community with jerks. Rescue is a great skill and some people may use it wrong. Like everyone says, just because some jerks used it to troll it doesn't mean it's a bad skill.

I need rescue in my hotbar for various things. Like the second boss in The Keeper of the Lake and pulling clueless people to the safe area. There are times when rescue is needed, like how my sister got into a raid on alliance B, but somehow the tank keeps going with A. She later pulled him. Did I forgot to mention the stupid tank was The Legend?

I hate the skill with a burning passion but other people swear by it. So it should stay. Just report the trolls.

It's PvP where I saw some really questionable things though. I've had a healer get himself killed in Frontlines, because he wanted to pull me off the few people attacking him. I would have taken them out for you buddy. But if you don't want the help, I'll go help someone else. There was another time that I was going to big ice (and was passing the healer on the way to ice), but was keeping an eye out for the GC close by. The healer rescued me away from big ice, telling me I wasn't aware of big ice. When I heal, I appreciate it when tanks/ DPS make sure no one is on my butt. Ranged are excellent for this. I've seen healers heavy and bind too.

You know with the role actions being increased to 10 come next patch, expect to see more players using Rescue.... for better or for worse.

I've seen it used in EX Rathalos when a party member is stunned and about to eat another face full of claw from Big Red.

It has its uses.
