Looks to me you’re being snarky cause you were trolled with it this one time.

Rescue is fine...save maybe for the delay in it actually working (compared to the WoW priest ability of similar design, which likely inspired Rescue). The ability’s positive uses far outweigh the capacity for trolling with it.

Take a breather, harassment is an issue but let us not paint every negative experience as harassment. Sure having a trolling player in your group be it healer, tank or dps can be frustrating and annoying but end of day in most cases it amounts to a minor inconvenience. Sure in some cases it may result in a wipe but you have the tools to handle the situation meaning vote kicking the person or leaving the group yourself.

I agree through harassment is an important issue, but I am sorry what you mentioned is far from harassment in my eyes and is not worth getting livid over.

Honestly the Developers are not going to Remove a skill because one Player out of millions had someone Troll them its just not going to happen and your a Rdm during that wer you not? why did you use your Vercure on your Doublecast to stay alive? o.o its kinda hard to die as a Rdm its best if you just let this one go rather then turn you inside out yes you got trolled it happens theirs no MMO that dosent have them but Quite Frankly your not acting better then said troll Ranting about how a skill outta get removed because you yourself dont like it and its been posted alot that the skill saves a lot of peoples hide (includeing my own hide) frankly your better off just ignoring the healer and his "Tank buddy" and like others have said if anyone wanted to "punish" you its likely due to the healer flat out refusing to heal you blaming the skill rather then the one using the skill is downright childish and quite frankly kinda silly yelling kicking and screaming wont let you get your way heck odds are the Devs will keep it in just to make you upset more my Advice: Buy some lumber Build a Bridge and get over it its not worth your experience of the game being ruined honestly its not like if you die your dead forever

I, for one, enjoy rescuing my friends into death.

I also enjoy being rescued back to the boss after a "go to Narnia" mechanic.

Also nice to use to get people to stand on the platforms in LotA.

I love rescue, it helps me drag overzealous tanks back into healing range when all my instants are on cooldown and he's still running off like a maniac with half the dungeon already pulled. Would hate to see it removed!Also very handy for repositioning random headless chickens who keep running off into the sunset and out of range of AoE heals

Necro aside, most of my experience as a target of Rescue has been just getting casts interrupted as a BLM or RDM...

I just used rescue to save a sprout a couple of times in LotA. On the other hand, this ast kept using rescue on my drk in copperbell after I asked her to stop.
