    New Dungeons Challenge Suggestion

    I really liked the "challenge" coming from the Bardam's Mettle dungeon. It made us play three mini-games to complete a boss fight. Henceforth, I want to see something that is different in our future dungeons; other than the monotony grinding of dungeon monsters.

    I would like to see us trying to solve some interactive mechanics along the way. For example, jump puzzles - everyone will try to get to the top of hill/cliff/mountain to clear a path to the next boss. If someone cannot get up there then the player that could can active a teleport node on top to get the remaining players up.

    Another example, scavenger hunt, search for clues (like Satasha opening) to unlock a hidden door and failed to do so will open a trap with 2x more monsters.

    Jump puzzles would be a terrible thing to include in dungeons. Suppose you end up in a run where not a single one of the four people can make it to the top. This could easily happen, as jump puzzles are such a small part of this game that people could be Ultimate-level players in combat and still be absolutely horrible platformers.

    In general, jump puzzles in this game are not well-designed. Objects tend to have larger collision boxes than their visual graphics; well-designed jump puzzles do not require players to exploit larger-than-visible floors before the jump, nor do they punish players for failing to account for invisibly inflated walls during the jump.

    I'm fine with that, I'm not fine with jump puzzles in a dungeon especially if it's required to advance something.

    I'm all for the other ideas tho, anything to break up the single path dungeons have trended towards.

    If next Moonfire event is jump puzzles then won't be doing it since have bad hands and jump puzzles is really hard to do. Jump puzzles have no place on a online rpg.

    I would say this is going a bit too far. Im sorry you have issues with your hands and cant execute jump puzzles easily, but that doesnt mean they have "no place" in such a game. Many people have no patience for raiding or crafting, but that doesnt mean that they dont belong. Just that they arent for everyone. I would say the current implementation is adequate(which is not the same as good) - they exist and there are some minor rewards to be had for them(sightseeing, ooooh), but are completely optional(and can sometimes be cheesed using other mechanics like the wedding ring teleport).

    Well they are going with The American Ninja like theme apparently so datamined files showed jump puzzles.
    Myself i do like them at all but what can you do
