    Square Enix, here's a suggestion...

Make it so that we can easily transfer gil and items to our alts. Seriously, I can't believe something this basic have been overlooked.

Also, make it so that we can make our alts tenants of our apartment/house.

I play on Mateus, which is an RP server. I RP, and it's important for me to have my alt be able to freely access my main's house. I know you can have access to it by making it so that the house is public, but still, it would be VERY GREAT if our alt can be actual tenants of the house. It... makes... sense...

I got a question to all of you here... Please tell me I'm not the first one in these forums to suggest something like this? Am I right?

I'm pretty sure SE might not even have the technical infrastructure in place for this. There are a number of other things that should be account-based, but are in fact character-based. Some examples:

    - Black list / friend list entries
    - Housing (including purchase limits prior to 4.2)
    - Character creation limits (really, servers should limit the number of accounts active on them at any given time - not the number of characters)
    - Numerous Mog Station items / Seasonal Event items

Obviously the functionality you discuss should exist. Frankly, there should probably be a shared bank a la a personal FC chest, or Diablo 3's Stash. But there's a lot of account-level functionality that is missing, leading me to suspect that SE really botched the design at an early, early stage years ago.

Wow, girl. That sounds so incredibly complicated...
