Implementing Novice (expert?) training for Lv 70

As somebody who plays RDM/BLM/WHM level 70 main now- once hitting the level 70 you get additional skills people at first few weeks (or month like me) do not know how to use/do not use/forget about it because throughout the journey, we never had it.
I think a level 70 Novice (Expert?) training that focuses on your new skill designed from 65~70 would be tremendous! It'd give people a better preparation once hit level 70!

I would love this so much, because Novice training early in my days with all classes have been doing major wonders and helped me so much (as new MMO player)

Please let me know what you think!

There would have to be a reward for it equally desirable for people at level 70 as that level 15 gear you get from current novice quests is.

Make it drop the first level 70 dungeon tier weapon rather than the first dungeon. Though that wouldn't really help once better weapons are readily available, it'd at least give an incentive to try it once.

Hell for a fresh Level 70, or any class for that matter, any weapon is better than no weapon. Especially if you've been getting no luck with the dungeon drops till that point. I'd be all for this personally. While the community is able to tune classes to their best upper limits, even just having a decent idea of how to use new skills would be a god send for some classes. And especially for newer players who want to jump into the fray quickly but might not be the best at learning from written guides.

They should have the class NPCs literally teach or instruct you on the use of these skills during the quests your receive them in the first place. Kind of like the occasional flavor text we got in early class quests, only more involved and detailed--hands-on training, if you would.

I wouldn't say no to a higher level Novice Hall though, especially if it rewarded more unique-looking class or role gear.

With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.

That's what I was thinking. I don't personally do Extreme Trials (Really sure, but self-doubt's so much fun), so getting weapons for anything other than SCH (My main, where I funnel tomes into) tends to be slow work until catchup time before the next expansion. I liked the i90 relics because it had me actually use the job to earn a weapon that was...While not great for everything, at least usable.

I did not even think about rewards. I do not care as much for rewards as the point of the whole questing to be optional and available to practice/learn for level 70 rotation. I didn't even think about rewards because the availability of it by itself I find rewarding. But if people talk about rewards which - thank you for bringing up! I really did not think of it haha - but I would suggest Gil and perhaps furniture? or maybe a minion? Or uh.. MGP ! Yes! Totally! lol Okay see, this is why I don't talk about rewards. XD

They can't really go into anything too specific with a more advanced training hall, since jobs change all the time and it would be quite the endeavour to have to change it all the time. Things like rotations are player created, Square has some leverage with how they design the abilities, but it's the players who ultimately come up with the best rotations.

I think the most we'll get are more advanced generic role training, such as tank swapping, healing priority, common mechanics, etc.

The reward could be allowed entry into endgame.

To be honest, I think Ala Mihgo is just fine for practicing your new Level 70 skills and rotation.

If you do it via Duty Finder, you are probably guaranteed to get a squad of experienced players. As long as you put forth a reasonable effort, most players won't complain too badly, especially if they're getting an easy WT Second Chance out of it. It shouldn't take that long for you to get the hang of it.

And you can also ask if anybody has experience with that job and could tell you how you should deal with your new Lv70 skill. There's surely some peeps around that could help you out with a quick cliffnotes as to where/how your Lv70 skill fits in.
