General Discussion, Dev Tracker, Hot Topics, New Posts, and more!

Raising awareness of the NEW POSTS link in the upper left-hand corner that lets you see activity across all English-based forums.

Suggestions regarding game play may be out of place when posted on the: Website Feedback and Suggestions forum. A suggestion may be better placed in the forum it closest relates to and if the category is uncertain, maybe dumping it in the Gameplay > Other section. I know most of us are guilty of posting a suggestion on there. Just wanted to help steer us toward a process to set the precedent for newer and future posters.

In conjunction with New Posts, you can keep up with some interesting topics in potentially all the forums.

I think forum regulars may using the ol' New Posts, but a lot of folks only look at and/or respond to Hot Topics and the recently Dev Tracker replied topics to post. And may hover around the General Discussions, refreshing the page here and there to discuss. Some of you might even only bounce between General Discussions and the Dev Tracker.

Gonna lean on the CMs here, rest assured, they are checking in on the topic-specific forums as well. It may even help them out in the long run when they need to find a good topic about combat, they only need to check the Battle Mechanics forum instead of digging back through pages upon pages of General Discussion.

Epilogue: General Discussion is a lot like Ul'dah. We go here, because we know that there's a better chance to find other people here. There are other places to hang out, find parties, and trade at, but few people are using them as intended, so it makes for a barren location. Together, we can fix...
