I really don't understand how someone pointing out something and being helpful towards informing others deserves the random ire and spite of people on the forum. Since when have we've become so cynical that we respond with passive aggressive comments over a bug/glitch that the devs and localization team missed, and in turn take it out on the poor poster?
I just assume that those people have too much stuff going on in their own personal lives that cause them to bring their attitudes and hate here.I really don't understand how someone pointing out something and being helpful towards informing others deserves the random ire and spite of people on the forum. It's a known bug, luckly they give back the items if you screw up by getting wrong ring.

I would like to thank you for letting us know. I usually just read General Discussion and didn't know about this. I got lucky I went with augmenting Samurai before my Red Mage, but now I know. Thanks again.

If you want a dev to respond, try the JP forums. I haven’t seen a dev response in the EN forums in over a year. I get the strong feeling after the hard is fun heavensward incidents that they are going to silently ignore us. They probably think that the EN forums are incoherent complaining and don’t even bother to try and figure it out. That or there afraid to respond to any of the EN posts out of fear that it will be twisted or misunderstood. Either way, there not here, it’s just us and the language moderators.

It doesn't matter where you post the information at, they won't read it, or they don't care either way, it's still fuxed and caused me to have to buy both damn rings and waste my tomes/gil in order to get what I needed.
They don't read our posts, obviously.

There is a sidebar on the forum homepage with dev responses... They post quite frequently. (you realize they post in place of the devs because they speak English well right?)If you want a dev to respond, try the JP forums. I haven’t seen a dev response in the EN forums in over a year. Many of the posts I have seen are from the EU side, it’s as if the NA side has vanished.
I still hold out hope. I remember making a thread back in 4.0 where I and many others made up a list of very specific SMN changes we felt were really needed, and asked if they could be made. Next patch in 4.1 about half of the requests were fulfilled. If you want a dev to respond, try the JP forums. I haven’t seen a dev response in the EN forums in over a year.
