    Today i had this dream.

    About a hardcore OWPvP server.

You can only play 1 class, making everything more group,LS and community based.

DoL:If you are a miner, you could gather raw ores for your LS crafters.
DoH:You use the materials of the DoL and craft items for your LS.
DoW/M: Grind shards for the crafters, hunt Open world NM's AND protect your DoL linkshell members while they are gathering.

    Full loot open world pvp.

Areas with HQ and rare materials, perfect for LS wars.

Yeah i know,im crazy, sorry, too much time without FFXIV. xD

I would take out my boredom of not being able to get a party by Pwning crafters >.>, gathers would suck to PvP that can just keep tossing those stun stones would make it take way to long.

I can see it now, New player starts the game. A rank 50 Archer hit the rank 2 glad for 4000dmg. Glad raises up 2 mins later the archer pwns the glad again. Angered the Glad goes to town to buy a pick axe to mine. IN the middle of a gathering leve the archer one again pops a barrage and drops the new rank 1 miner. He then as a last resort starts goldsmithing with the 4 ores he got before getting pwned. From behind the corner of Uldah the archer uses close shot for 1090dmg to the lvl 1 goldsmith. New player quit game for good 5 mins later.

This would not be a good idea.

That would be painfully boring for crafters and miners would need a constant guard.

Maybe the OWPvP server is a good idea... but what's the point of limiting people to only one class when they will just make an alt to play the other classes anyway? It's just an inconvenience that would require a rethinking of the entire armory system. I can see an OWPvP server with full loot being implemented with a small cost to development time, but the one-class thing is ridiculous when there are easier options to encourage community-based play.

I do think game developers should consider OWPvP servers and PvE only servers when they make games so they can capture both player bases with only one game.
