Crafters need a better way of getting hides instead of relying on the marketboard (which is what caused this rant).

Have you been sending your combat retainers out for monster parts? They can bring back preset quantities (often 10) of monster parts per hour.

Retainers are the best way to get monster-drop items, but I do think there should be some way of improving the player's own ability to get them. But it needn't go as far as a bestiary. Adding some food and potions which increase material drop rates would work fine.
