    Anyone actually get helpful support for callback(Invite to Return) email issues?

    Hi all,

    I've been waiting for a callback invite to hit my friend's email for a few weeks now. We did the usual... check spam etc. We know he's eligible. He hasn't played in a few years but we did buy and play HW. Waited several days. Friend sent in a support ticket. They told him to check spam (okay... already did) or change his email (really?) For one he had already changed his email recently upon recovering his account.

    I've sent him 3 callback invites. 2 of those were after he changed his email. Since then it's been two weeks. I just want to play with my friend. Callback campaign ends on June 26th. At rate it's going right now it'll end before I can invite this friend or any others for that matter. I already googled and searched for any other posts with people having the same issues. With the only thing being some people had to wait longer than others. Has anyone actually received any useful support regarding this issue or asking for help from square enix a waste of time?

    My friends spammed me with invites as soon as the campaign became available and in the end after many attempts 4.3 came out and I was just like MEH ILL RESUB MYSELF.

    I swear they make it hard on purpose

    Some helpful tips...

    I received help by contacting support live chat in less than 10 minutes. They did not tell me anything beyond what the support ticket said - however something did catch my eye. One of the requirements being the person's account must not have been "subscribed / logged into more recently than the last three months."

    Logged in meaning "logged into the game". Does this mean logging into your character in the world or simply logging into the game client? The only reason I can guess might make my friend ineligible is he did log into the game client to try and download/install the game early which promptly told him he needs to subscribe in order to receive updates. However, depending on their account activity monitoring... I could see this as flagging his account as 'being logged in'.

    My advice for anyone in the future - try to make sure your friend avoids logging into game client at all. Logging into mog station is okay.

    I've sent the maximum number allowed of callback invites and my wife has yet to receive an email. It's like they make things difficult on purpose. She hasn't logged/subscribed in 4-5 months.
